Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-SartoriusMSA-MTI, Digimatic FlashCable for Sartorius Cubis MSA Precision Balance.
Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable interface for Sartorius Cubis MSA Series Precision Balance
- Sends data to GageMux or other devices that recognize the Digimatic signal
- Several options to trigger data
Send data to GageMux gage interface or other Digimatic input devices. We can create a Digimatic output interface cable for any Sartorius device. This FlashCable gage interface is designed to change the output on the Sartorius Cubis MSA Series High Resolution Precision Balance to an output in Digimatic format. The 25-pin male connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable gage interface connects to the 25-Pin female connector on the Sartorius Cubis Precision Electronic Balance.
This FlashCable gage interface is engineered to work with GageMux multiple-input gage interface or similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. It does not obtain any power from the gage.
When connected to the GageMux gage interface, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable gage interface. On Digimatic interfaces other than the GageMux, pin 9 of the 10-pin connector needs to provide 5v DC power to the FlashCable gage interface.
The LED on the FlashCable gage interface will turn GREEN to indicate that the FlashCable is connected properly. The LED flashes RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the Data Output button on the Sartorius Cubis MSA Series Precision Balance
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using a footswitch on the FlashCable (not included)
- Using the footswitch on the GageMux USB or similar triggering method)
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the gage
Advanced Systems & Designs normally sets the FlashCable gage interface to the default settings for the Sartorius Cubis MSA Series Precision Balance. To insure proper communication both the Sartorius Precision Balance and FlashCable gage interface must be set to the same values. Refer to the Sartorius Cubis MSA Series User Manual for more information on external communication. Six foot standard cable length.
