Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-SARA120S-MTI, Digimatic FlashCable for Sartorius A Series Analytical Balance
Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable interface for Sartorius A Series Analytical Balance
- Sends data to GageMux or other devices that recognize the Digimatic signal
- Several options to trigger data
Send data to GageMux gage interface or other Digimatic devices. This FlashCable gage interface is designed to change the output on the Sartorius A Series Analytical Balance to an output in Mitutoyo Digimatic format. The 25-pin male connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable gage interface connects to the 25-Pin female connector on the Sartorius Balance. This Sartorius Balance must be equipped with the optional Sartorius interface in order to communicate with this FlashCable gage interface.
This FlashCable gage interface is engineered to work with GageMux multiple-input gage interface or similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. It does not obtain any power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux gage interface, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable gage interface. On Digimatic interfaces other than GageMux, pin 9 of the 10-pin connector needs to provide 5vDC power to the FlashCable interface.
The LED on the FlashCable gage interface will turn GREEN to indicate that the FlashCable is connected properly. The LED flashes RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the PRINT key on the Sartorius A Series Analytical Balance
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using a footswitch on the FlashCable (not included)
- Using the footswitch on the GageMux USB or similar triggering method
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the gage
Advanced Systems & Designs normally sets the FlashCable gage interface to the default settings for the Sartorius A Series Analytical Balance. To insure proper communication both the Sartorius A Series Balance and FlashCable gage interface must be set to the same values. Refer to the Sartorius A Series Analytical Balance and optional interface operating instructions for more information on interface communication with peripheral devices.A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface.Six foot standard cable length.
