Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-QM200-MTI, Digimatic FlashCable for Mitutoyo QM-Data 200 Display
Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable interface cable for the Mitutoyo QM-Data 200 Display
- Uses the enter / send data button on the Mitutoyo QM-Data 200 Display to send data
- Sends data to GageMux gage interface or other devices that recognize the Digimatic signal
Send data to GageMux gage interface or other Digimatic input devices. This FlashCable gage interface is engineered to convert the output on the Mitutoyo QM-Data 200 Display to a Digimatic format. The 9-pin female connector on this Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable connects directly to the RS-232C male interface connector on the Mitutoyo QM-Data 200 Display.
This FlashCable gage interface is designed to work with GageMux multiple input gage interface or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable does not obtain any power from the Mitutoyo Digital Display. When properly connected to GageMux interface, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable gage interface. On devices other than the GageMux, pin 9 of the input port connector must provide a 5vDC power to the FlashCable.
When the FlashCable gage interface is powered by the GageMux the LED on the FlashCable turns solid GREEN. The LED briefly flashes RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered by the following method:
- Using the enter / send data button on the Mitutoyo QM-Data 200 Display
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface. As a default setting, Advanced Systems & Designs sets the FlashCable gage interface to the default RS232 communication settings on the Mitutoyo QM-Data 200 Display. The Mitutoyo QM-Data 200 Display and FlashCable gage interface must be set to the same RS232 communication values. Refer to the Mitutoyo QM-Data 200 Display hardware guide user manual for more information on how to set-up external communication using the RS-232C interface. Six foot standard cable length.
