Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-MTICS-MTI, Digimatic Output FlashCable for Mettler Toledo ICS Series Weighing System
Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable for Mettler Toledo ICS Series Weighing System
- Sends data to GageMux or devices that recognize the Digimatic Signal
- Several options to trigger data
Sends Data to GageMux or other Digimatic devices. This FlashCable gage interface is engineered to change the output on the Mettler Toledo ICS Series Weighing System to an output in a Digimatic format. The special 8-Pin connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable gage interface connects directly to the 8-pin connector on the Mettler Toledo ICS Series Weighing System. Designed to work with GageMux gage interface or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal.
The FlashCable gage interface does not obtain any power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable gage interface. If using devices other than the GageMux, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5VDC supply to the FlashCable. When the FlashCable gage interface is connected to the GageMux, the LED on the FlashCable turns GREEN. This indicates that the FlashCable gage interface is properly connected. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the print key on the Mettler Toledo ICS Series Weighing System, if it has one
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable(not included)
- Using the Footswitch on the GageMux USB (or equivalent triggering method on similar devices)
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the gage
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface. Advanced Systems & Designs sets the FlashCable gage interface to the default settings on the Mettler Toledo ICS Series Weighing System. Make sure both are set to the same values. Refer to the Mettler Toledo ICS Series user manual for more information on external communication. Six foot standard cable length.
