Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-Millitron832-MTI, FlashCable for Millitron 832 Probe Style Electronic Amplifier
Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable for 832 Electronic Amplifier
- Sends data to GageMux gage interface or devices that recognize the Digimatic Signal
- Several options to trigger data
Send data to GageMux gage interface or other Digimatic input devices. This FlashCable gage interface is engineered to convert the output on the Mahr Federal Millitron 832 Electronic Amplifier to a Digimatic format. The 9-pin female connector on this Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable connects directly to the male connector on the Millitron 832 Probe Style Electronic Amplifier.
This FlashCable gage interface is designed to work with GageMux gage interface or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable does not obtain any power from the Mahr Federal Millitron 832. When properly connected to GageMux interface, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable gage interface. On devices other than the GageMux, pin 9 of the input port connector must provide a 5vDC power to the FlashCable.
When the FlashCable gage interface is powered by the GageMux the LED on the FlashCable turns solid GREEN. The LED briefly flashes RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the send data button on the Mahr Federal 832 Electronic Amplifier
- Using a Footswitch connected to GageMux USB or equivalent triggering methods
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable (not included)
- Sending a read command from the external computer to the Millitron 832 Electronic Amplifier
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface. As a default setting, Advanced Systems & Designs sets the FlashCable gage interface to the default RS232 communication settings on the 832 Electronic Amplifier. The Mahr Federal 832 Electronic Amplifier and FlashCable gage interface must be set to the same communication values. Refer to the Mahr Federal 832 Electronic Amplifier operating manual for more information on how to set-up external communication. Six foot standard cable length.
