Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-METXS-MTI, FlashCable Gage Interface for Mettler Toledo XS Precision Balance
Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable for the Mettler Toledo XS Precision Balance
- Sends data to GageMux or devices that recognize the Digimatic Signal
- Several options to trigger data
The Advanced Systems and Designs FlashCable gage interface is engineered to change the output on the Mettler Toledo XS Precision Balance to an 10-pin output in a Mitutoyo Digimatic format. Using a 9-pin male connector, this FlashCable gage interface is designed to work with GageMux gage interface or other SPC data acquisition systems that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable does not obtain any power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux gage interface, pin 9 of the 10-pin connector port provides the power to the FlashCable. If using devices, other than the GageMux, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5VDC supply to the FlashCable.Data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the data send button on the Mettler Toledo XS Precision Balance, if it has one
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using the Footswitch on the GageMux (or equivalent triggering method on similar devices)
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the GageMux gage interface
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface. The communication parameters can be changed and reconfigured per requirements for both the FlashCable and the XS Precision Balance. Advanced Systems & Designs normally sets the FlashCable to the default settings on the Mettler Toledo XS Precision Balance. Make sure both the XS Precision Balance and FlashCable are set to the same values. Refer to the Mettler Toledo XS Precision Balance user manual for more information on external communication. Six foot standard cable length.
