Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-MARKSER5-MTI, Digimatic FlashCable for Mark-10 Series 5 or 7 Force Gauge
Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable for Mark-10 Series 5 Digital Force Gage
- Sends data to GageMux or devices that recognize the Digimatic Signal
- Several options to trigger data
Sends the displayed reading to GageMux or similar devices. This FlashCable gage interface is engineered to change the output on the Mark-10 Series 5 or 7 Digital Force Gauge to an output in a Digimatic format. The 15-pin HD male connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable connects to Mark-10 Force Gauge 15-pin input connector. This FlashCable gage interface is designed to work with GageMux or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal.
The FlashCable gage interface does not obtain any power from the gauge. When connected to the GageMux, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable. If using devices, other than the GageMux, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5VDC supply to the FlashCable gage interface.
When the FlashCable gage interface is connected to the GageMux, the LED on the FlashCable turns GREEN. This indicates that the FlashCable gage interface is connected properly. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the "data" send button on the Mark-10 Series 5 or 7 Digital Force Gauge
- Using the Footswitch on the GageMux USB (or equivalent triggering method on similar devices)
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the Mark-10 Series 5 Digital Force Gauge
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable (not included)
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface. The communication parameters can be changed and reconfigured per requirements for both the FlashCable gage interface and the Mark-10 Digital Force Gauge. Advanced Systems & Designs normally sets the FlashCable gage interface to the default settings on the Mark-10 Digital Force Gauge.
