The Advanced Systems and Designs (ASDQMS) gage interface with keyboard output sends data directly to Microsoft Excel, Explorer-based SPC programs, or other spreadsheet programs without using complicated software wedges. This Advanced Systems & Designs SmartCable™ USB Keyboard, single gage interface, connects the Mark-10 Series 4 / 5 / 7 Tension / Compression Force Gauge to a computer. Connects the Mark-10 Digital Force Gauge to the SmartCable™ Keyboard using a 15-pin HD male cable connector-no additional cables required. The output of the SmartCable™ Keyboard is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal. Connecting the SmartCable™ Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge will allow the SmartCable™ gage interface to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application - no complicated software wedge required. The SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface will make the Mark-10 digital readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard - eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or Explorer based SPC programs, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.
