The Advanced Systems and Designs (ASDQMS) gage interface with keyboard output sends data directly to Microsoft Excel, Explorer-based SPC programs, or other spreadsheet programs without using complicated software wedges. This Advanced Systems & Designs SmartCable™ USB Keyboard, single gage interface, connects the Mark-10 Series CG | EG Digital Force Gauge to a computer. Connects the Mark-10 Digital Force Gauge to the SmartCable™ Keyboard using a 9-pin female cable connector-no additional cables required. The output of the SmartCable™ Keyboard is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal.
Connecting the SmartCable™ Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge will allow the SmartCable™ gage interface to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application - no software wedge required. The SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface will make the Mark-10 CG | EG Digital Force Gauge readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard - eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.
LED Indicator lights aid the user with the operation of the SmartCable™ gage interface. This SmartCable™ Keyboard is easily configured to output data in different output modes on your spreadsheet, such as CR, TAB, up, down, left, or right. The output mode is selected by adjusting the rotary switch on the SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface. To access the rotary switch, simply remove the top cover by loosening two Phillips screws.
