Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-KEYLJG5001-MTI, FlashCable Interface for Keyence LJ-G Series Laser Displacement Sensor
Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable for Keyence LJ-G Series High-Accuracy 2D Laser Displacement Sensor
- Sends data to GageMux or devices that recognize the Digimatic output signal
- Several options to trigger data
Sends data to GageMux gage interfaceUsing a Keyence RJ Ethernet type male cable connector, this Advanced Systems and Designs FlashCable gage interface changes the output on the Keyence LJ-G Series High-Accuracy 2D Laser Displacement Sensor to an output in a Mitutoyo Digimatic format. This interface cable is engineered to work with GageMux gage interface or data acquisition systems that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal.
The FlashCable gage interface does not obtain any power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable gage interface. If using devices other than the GageMux multiple input gage interface, make sure pin 9 on the connector provides a 5vDC power supply to the FlashCable gage interface cable.
The LED on the FlashCable gage interface is solid GREEN when power is properly provided to the interface cable. The LED briefly flashes RED when data is send from the Keyence LJ-G Series High-Accuracy 2D Laser Displacement Sensor to the GageMux gage interface.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the data send button on the Keyence LJ-G Series Laser device, if it has one
- Using the Footswitch on the GageMux USB or equivalent triggering method
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable gage interface (not included)
- Sending a gage read command from a host computer to the Keyence LJ-G Series High-Accuracy 2D Laser
A user operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface. Advanced Systems & Designs normally sets the FlashCable gage interface at the factory to the default settings on the Keyence High-Accuracy Laser Displacement Sensor. Both the Keyence High-Accuracy Laser Displacement Sensor and FlashCable gage interface must be set to the same values in order for proper communication to occur. Refer to the Keyence LJ-G Series user manual for more information on external communication. Six foot overall length.
