Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-JETCOTW-MTI, FlashCable Gage Interface for Jetco Electronic Torque Wrench
- Digimatic output FlashCable for the Jetco Electronic Torque Wrench
- Sends data to GageMux or typical devices that recognize the Digimatic signal
- Several options to trigger data
Send data to GageMux Interface or similar Digimatic Input DevicesThis Advanced Systems and Designs FlashCable gage interface converts the output on the Jetco Electronic Torque Wrench with -P RS232 adapter option to a 10-pin output in Mitutoyo Digimatic format. Using a 9-pin male connector, this FlashCable gage interface is engineered to work with GageMux gage interface or similar SPC data acquisition systems that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal.
The FlashCable does not obtain any power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux gage interface, pin 9 of the 10-pin connector port provides the power to the FlashCable. If using devices other than GageMux gage interface, pin 9 on the connector port must provide a 5v DC supply to the FlashCable gage interface. The LED on the FlashCable gage interface turns GREEN when power is properly provided to the gage interface cable. The LED will briefly flash RED when data is sent.
Data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the power / clear button on the Jetco Electronic Torque Wrench
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using the Footswitch on the GageMux gage interface or equivalent triggering method
- Sending a read command from the computer to the GageMux gage interface
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface.
Note: The optional Jetco -P kit with RS232 adapter must be used for this application. Advanced Systems & Designs normally sets the FlashCable gage interface to the default settings on the Jetco Electronic Torque Wrench. Refer to the Jetco Electronic Torque Wrench user manual for more information on setting external communication. Six foot standard cable length.
