Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-HEIDQC1000-MTI, Digimatic FlashCable for Heidenhain QC1000 Quick-Chek Digital Display
Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable for Heidenhain QC1000 Quick-Chek Digital Display
- Sends data to GageMux or devices that recognize the Digimatic Signal
- Several options to trigger data
Sends data to GageMux or similar devices The Quick-Chek QC-1000 displays measurements corresponding to the movement of the encoders. Through the use of FlashCable gage interface and GageMux USB, the RS-232 serial port on the Quick-Chek QC-1000 allows two-way communication between an external computer and the Quick-Chek QC-1000 readout.
The FlashCable gage interface is engineered to change the output on the Heidenhain QC1000 Quick-Chek Digital Display to an output in Digimatic format. The male connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable gage interface connects directly to the 9-pin female connector on the Heidenhain QC1000 Digital Display.
This FlashCable Digimatic gage interface is designed to work with GageMux or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. When connected to the GageMux, the input port provides the power to the FlashCable gage interface. When using devices other than the GageMux please insure that pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5v DC supply to the FlashCable gage interface. The LED on the FlashCable gage interface turns GREEN when it is connected properly. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is requested.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the print button on the QC1000 Quick-Chek Display
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable (not included)
- Using the Footswitch on the GageMux USB (or equivalent triggering method on similar devices)
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the Heidenhain QC1000, such as X, to send X axis data.
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface. The communication parameters can be changed and reconfigured per requirements for both the FlashCable gage interface and the Heidenhain QC1000 Quick-Chek Digital Display. The FlashCable gage interface is normally set to the to the default settings on the Heidenhain QC1000 Quick-Chek Digital Display. Both the Heidenhain QC1000 and FlashCable gage interface must be set to same values. Refer to the Heidenhain QC1000 Quick-Chek operation manual for more information on RS232 serial communication.Six foot standard cable length.
