Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable interfce for A & D GF Series Balance
- Sends data to GageMux or devices that recognize the Digimatic signal
- Several options to trigger data
Send data to GageMux or other Digimatic devicesThis Advanced Systems and Designs FlashCable gage interface is engineered to change the output on the A&D Engineering GF Series Precision Balance to an output in a Digimatic format (including the GF-200, 300, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 2000, 3000, 4000, 6100, 6000, & 8000 Precision Balances). Our FlashCable gage interface quickly adapts to work with the speedy response time of the A & D GF Series Balances. The Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable Digimatic gage interface connects directly to the 25-Pin female connector on the A&D GF Series Precision Balance. All of Digimatic output FlashCable gage interfaces are designed to work with GageMux gage interface or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal.
When connected to the GageMux gage interface, pin 9 on the 10-pin Digimatic input port provides the power to the FlashCable. If using devices, other than the GageMux, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5vDC supply to theFlashCable gage interface. When the FlashCable interface is properly connected to the GageMux, the LED on the FlashCable turns GREEN to indicate that the FlashCable gage interface is peroperly connected. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered. The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the PRINT key on the GF Series Precision Balance
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable (not included)
- Using the Footswitch on the GageMux USB (or equivalent triggering method on similar devices
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the gage
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface. The communication parameters can be changed and reconfigured per requirements for both the FlashCable gage interface and the A&D Engineering GF Precision Balance. Advanced Systems & Designs normally sets the FlashCable to the default settings on the A&D GF300 Precision Balance. Make sure both the A&D Precision Balance and the FlashCable gage interface are set to the same values. Refer to the A&D GF Series Precision Balance user manual for more information on external communication.
