Advanced Systems & Designs, 600-22-AGRMBT7400-MTI, Digimatic FlashCable for AGR MBT7400 Portable Thickness Measuring Device
Features:
- Digimatic output FlashCable for AGR MBT7400 Portable Thickness Measuring Device
- Sends data to GageMux or devices that recognize the Digimatic Signal
- Offers several options to Send data from the device
Send data to GageMux gage interface or other Digimatic input devicesThis FlashCable gage interface is engineered to change the output on the AGR MBT7400 Portable Thickness Measuring Device to an output in a Digimatic format. Designed to work with GageMux gage interface or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The high quality 7-pin connector on this Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable gage interface connects to the AGR Portable Thickness Measuring Device.
The FlashCable does not obtain any power from the gage. Pin 9 of the 10-pin input port on the GageMux gage interface provides the power to the FlashCable gage interface. If using devices, other than the GageMux, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5VDC supply to theFlashCable.
When the FlashCable is connected to the GageMux gage interface, the LED on the FlashCable turns GREEN. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the Print button on the AGR MBT7400 Portable Thickness Measuring Device
- Using 300-1S in-line handswitch
- Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable (not included)
- Using the Footswitch on the GageMux USB (or equivalent triggering method on similar devices)
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the AGR MBT7400 Portable Thickness Measuring Device
An operating manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface. We typically set the FlashCable gage interface to the default settings on the AGR MBT7400 Portable Thickness Measuring Device. Make sure both the AGR MBT7400 Portable Thickness Measuring Device and FlashCable gage interface are set to the same values. Refer to the AGR Portable Thickness Measuring Device technical manual / operating instructions for more information on external communication. Refer to the GageMux USB gage interface manual to see the reconfiguration instructions.
