Send data directly to Excel - No Software Wedge RequiredThis Advanced Systems & Designs - ASDQMS SmartCable USB Keyboard single gage interface connects the Acculab AL Series Analytical Balance to a computer to Send data to Excel or SPC data collection programs. Connects the Acculab AL Series Analytical Balance to the SmartCable Keyboard gage interface using a 9-pin female cable connector - no additional cables required. The output of the SmartCable Keyboard is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal.
Connecting the ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard gage interface with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow the Acculab AL Series Analytical Balance to be identified as a keyboard device that can Send data to any Microsoft Windows application (like Excel) or SPC programs - no messy software wedge required. The ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard will make the Acculab AL Series Analytical Balance readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard - eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect SPC data into a Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet applications, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.
Readings can be triggered by the following:
- Pressing the Send, print or enter button on the Acculab AL Series Balance
- Pressing the data button on the ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard gage interface
- Depressing a connected footswitch (not included)
A detailed operation manual is included with this Advanced Systems and Designs SmartCable Keyboard gage interface. Advanced Systems & Designs - ASDQMS normally sets the SmartCable Keyboard to the default settings on the Acculab AL Series Analytical Balance. Make sure both the SmartCable Keyboard and Acculab AL Series Analytical Balance are set to the same values. Refer to the Acculab AL Series Analytical Balance operation manual for more information on external communication.
LED Indicator lights aid the user with the operation of the ASDQMS SmartCable Keyboard. This Advanced Systems and Designs SmartCable Keyboard is easily configured to output data in different output modes on your spreadsheet, such as CR, TAB, up, down, left, or right. The output mode is easily selected by adjusting the rotary switch on the SmartCable Keyboard. To access the rotary switch, simply remove the top cover by loosening two Phillips screws.Six foot standard cable length.
