GageMux® USB 4-Port Universal Gage Interface
This GageMux® USB gage interface is compatible with all SPC software programs! The 500-40-USB Advanced Systems & Designs - ASDQMS 4-Port GageMux® USB multiplexer has revolutionized data collection and storage. It allows users to connect hundreds of different types of measuring devices and gages to an automated data collection system such as a PC or hand-held computer into any SPC software data collection package.
This 4-Port GageMux® USB universal gage interface supports four (4) inputs, can daisy-chain 100's of gages, and reads directly from Mitutoyo gages or Digimatic output gage cables such as FlashCable®. The GageMux® USB gage interface has LED indicators that communicate to the user if a reading is sent correctly to the computer, if a gage is reading incorrectly, and which output mode you have configured (USB or RS232). The GageMux® USB gage interface provides configurable options using rotary switches or commands stored in memory. It has a red LED for each port displaying errors, a RS232 pass thru port and connects 100's of gages to a RS232 or USB serial port.
All ASDQMS GageMux® USB gage interfaces have a simple, user friendly setup - your computer automatically installs the USB driver when the GageMux® gage interface is plugged into your computer USB port-just plug and play! If you choose to use the GageMux® as a RS232 9-pin output device, simply change the internal switch settings, connect a serial cable (not included), and the GageMux® will send data to your computer RS232 COM port. No need for additional drivers or external cable converters.
Since its invention, the updated functionalities of the GageMux® USB universal gage interface include faster speed and more gage compatibility. You can now send readings up to 100 times faster than with ordinary serial connections. In addition to the faster speed, the GageMux® USB gage interface can support gages from over 500 different manufacturers.
