Modern, dynamic hardness tester with color display / Memory / For metallic materials with hardness scales such as Vickers, Rockwell, Brinell, Leeb, Shore and Tensile
The material hardness tester PCE-2900 has been developed for hardness measurements on metallic materials. The material hardness tester measures the material hardness in Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell, Leeb and Shore. The material hardness tester PCE-2900 measures the hardness according to the Leeb rebound principle. An impactor bounces on the workpiece via a firing pin and the metal hardness is measured via the rebound. The PCE-2900 material hardness meter is equipped with a backlit color display.
Likewise, the buttons on the PCE-2900 are illuminated. Thus, the display can be read well even in low light conditions. The impact device is connected to the material hardness tester via a cable. The material hardness tester PCE-2900 has an internal memory of 6 x 100 measurement sets. The memory thus allows a documentation of the measured values. Via the integrated USB and WiFi interface, the measured values can be transferred from the material hardness tester via software to a PC. The material hardness tester is powered by commercially available 1.5V AA batteries and has a battery life of about 50 hours.
