Series A500 2" backset Mortise Lock case has a unique design. It features a stainless steel latch bolt and a full 1" throw solid stainless steel deadbolt. The exposed metal buttons are well-finished to match the appearance of the stainless steel latch and deadbolt.
Function: Dormitory without Egress
Latch by Thumb Piece from the other side except when the project deadbolt locks outside/inside Thumb Piece and deadbolt. Deadbolt by key outside, by turn piece inside, automatically unlocking outside/inside knob/lever. Latch deadlocked by auxiliary latch or deadbolt.
